CREATIVE DIRECTOR –

Industry veteran Lisa Elin Craighead loves a challenge. Her work spans a broad, seemingly unrelated spectrum of clients. Lisa is responsible for conceptualizing and creatively directing all aspects of photography, video  and fashion shoots.  Her background in photography and fashion includes creative for a number of leading consumer publications and organizations, most recently launching the official glossy for the UFC while concurrently acting as photography director for Mens Fitness Magazine. Prior, she spent two years revamping all global interior photography for Walmart via Saatchi & Saatchi.

Lisa was brought in by World Wrestling Entertainment Publications to completely overhaul and modernize WWE’s magazines. Lisa spent four years prior to that as Director of Photography and Fashion at GIANT, where she helped conceptualize and launch the celebrity, pop-culture and fashion driven magazine and creatively directed all commissioned fashion and photography art for the publication.

She also held a similar position at SAVOY magazine, revamping the publication and overseeing all aspects of concepting and directing photos shoots for celebrity, travel, fashion, still life and food sections.  Lisa also launched BLENDER Magazine.

Lisa has also been a Photo Editor at Teen People, Producer at Bthere TV, and Producer for Edge Rep.

Her 15 years directing includes work with celebrities in the worlds of Hollywood, music, politics, and sports ranging from Beyonce, Halle Berry, Jay-Z, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Elizabeth Banks, George St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, Chris Rock, Christina Ricci, Ethan Hawke, Jason Lee, Jessica Biel, Lenny Kravitz, Gwyneth Paltrow, The Rock, Katie Holmes, Nicholas Cage, Kate Beckinsale, and Wynton Marsalis.

Magazines she has directed all varieties of shoots for include Vogue, W, Details, Nylon, Ultimate Fighting Championship, Conde Nast Traveler, Martha Stewart Living, Vanity Fair, Surface, Food & Wine, Oprah, Mens Fitness and Blender.

She has worked on advertising campaigns for MTV, VH-1/Vogue Fashion Awards, American Express, Lincoln, GAP, Coke, Banana Republic, Walmart, Takashimaya, Estee Lauder, Mercer, M Drive, Zebra Tech, and Gerard Darel in Paris.

She lives with her Surf Viking of a husband in Venice Beach.
